Arboneer

Welcome to Arboneer, a top-down survival game set in a verdant forest full of wildlife. Your adventure will consist of chopping down trees, building houses, crafting tools and venturing into deep, dark caves to gather valuable materials.

Gameplay:

• Shelter: Chop down trees to build yourself a house
• Crafting: Gather materials to craft better and better tools
• Mining: Explore caves in search of precious ores
• Furnishing: Decorate your home with tables, chairs, sofas, and much more
• Combat: Fend off incessant waves of cute but deadly slimes

Features:

• Fully procedural worlds
• Cellular automata caves
• Grid-based furniture placement
• Functional inventory management
• Complex animal decision-making AI
• Basic melee combat
• Fully customisable settings

Limitations:

While this version is only a demo and will likely contain bugs, there are also some features that are simply unimplemented (but that I can't be bothered hiding). These include:

• The obvious lack of audio - no, your headset isn't broken
• The map and quests buttons on the navigation bar
• The categories/tabs on the building menu
• The armour and equipment slots in the inventory
• The rotation of buildings (only furniture for now)
• The NPCs (don't worry they will be added back)
• An unfixable issue with furniture previews in certain places
• And lastly (that I can think of), you can't destroy houses
